Busking in Madison, Indiana on a beautiful spring day. Madison is a historic river town on the banks of the Ohio in southeast Indiana. It’s a tourist town best known for the 1958 film, “Some Came Running”. The movie was shot there and starred Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin & Shirley MacLaine. Good movie. During filming, Sinatra became so frustrated with the director that he stormed off of the set and flew back to Los Angeles.
I met a lot of nice people including a local character named Dan-O who sat with me for a spell, requested a couple of Gordon Lightfoot tunes, took this photo and then ambled off down the street. A nice afternoon.
